Dino Abazović is an Associate Professor at the University of Sarajevo, at the Sociology Department. He also worked as Director of the Human Rights Center of the University of Sarajevo and as Academic Coordinator of the Religious Studies Program of the Center for Interdisciplinary Postgraduate Studies at University of Sarajevo. He has published number of chapters and papers in English and South-Slavic languages, three books in Bosnian, has co-authored one book, and edited four volumes. In 2012 Abazović was awarded a research fellowship at the Netherlands Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities and Social Sciences (NIAS) at the Royal Netherlands Academy of Science and Art.
