Nathalie Clayer is a Professor at the EHESS (Paris), a senior research fellow at the CNRS (Paris) at the CETOBAC department (Centre d’Etudes Turques, Ottomanes, Balkanique et Cetralasiatique, CNRS-EHESS-College de France), and head of the department. Her main research interests are religion, nationalism and state-building processes in the Ottoman Empire and in the Balkans, especially among the Albanians.
