Defne Günay

Defne Günay is Professor of International Relations at Yaşar University. She holds a PhD in Politics from the University of Sheffield. Her research focuses on climate politics, European Union external relations, and EU–Türkiye relations, with particular attention to the external dimensions of EU climate policy. Her recent work examines climate governance and policy, public attitudes towards climate change, climate communication, and the domestic and international drivers of climate action.
