Dorina Arapi holds a PhD in Ethnology from the Institute of Anthropology and Study of Art in Tirana, Albania in 2017. She is a researcher at the Centre for Studies and Publications on Arbëresh (QSPA) in Tirana, and a university lecturer of Design Anthropology. Her research interests are focused on material culture, cultural patterns, diaspora and related topics to intangible heritage.
She worked as the scientific advisor for the application file "Xhubleta, skills, craftsmanship and forms of usage" for UNESCO.
