Stef Jansen is affiliated in Social Anthropology at the University of Manchester (UK) whose work aims to contribute to the development of a critical anthropology of the making of home and hope with regard to place, nation and postsocialist state transformations, based on long term ethnographic research in the post-Yugoslav states of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Croatia.
